Pastel Florals at Boturich Castle
Chloe & Ciaran
Styling Notes
Set on the banks of Loch Lomond with panoramic views and fairytale charm, Chloe and Ciaran’s wedding at Boturich Castle embraced colour, joy, and soft floral movement. The design centred on a playful yet refined palette of pastel pinks, lilacs, soft blues, and buttery peach, brought together through carefully layered seasonal blooms and hand-dyed silk ribbons.
Chloe’s bouquet was a textural composition of dahlias, lisianthus, sweet peas, scabiosa, and garden roses, designed to feel abundant yet light, with ribbons that danced gently in the breeze. Each bridesmaid carried a simplified bouquet to echo the bride’s design, complementing their lilac gowns and adding harmony to the wedding party’s overall look.
The ceremony florals were grounded in a floral meadow of blooms, creating a sculptural, garden-like backdrop indoors, a statement that brought softness and colour to the historic castle space. On the tables, loosely gathered arrangements in clear glass vessels were styled with soft draping fabric and minimal detailing, allowing the flowers to lead the visual narrative.
This wedding is a celebration of what florals can do when they’re allowed to be expressive, romantic, and full of personality, enhancing the setting without overpowering it, and reflecting a couple’s style in every detail.
